Mental Health In Ireland

To date as many of you know mental health awareness has been drastically overlooked on the political stage in Ireland. There are many people who suffer from mental health problems and the outside world often just turns a blind eye. There have been many people trying to encourage the government to provide more funding to the mental health issues present in our country that have, to date been drowned out by other matters that are considered more important.

We as counsellors and psychotherapists need to make our voices heard and actively engage the public to raise awareness and encourage the public to help in our fight to receive better funding to help people with mental health issues in Ireland.
